Simple tips for creating a beer garden
A beer garden is a place of relaxation and conviviality where food and especially beer are served. Very common in Germany, this kind of place also exists in other countries. If you do not have one near you, you have the opportunity to create yours.
For this, certain elements are necessary for you:
- in a garden, have picnic tables to welcome guests
- bring bottles or cans of beer serving as vases of flowers
Decorative elements such as beer labels, or roller coasters create a nice decor. You can also use bottle caps to create wind chimes.
As far as drinks are concerned, the choice of German beer clearly corresponds to the idea of a beer garden. Paulaner, Weihenstephaner, Spaten or Augustiner are German brand beers that may interest you. Several other options remain to be explored, especially German-inspired beers. For those who do not like beer, wine is a good alternative.
The fruit juices will be appreciated by guests who do not drink alcohol. To keep drinks cool, think of metal buckets. To serve beverages, choose between paper cups, cups or glasses.
German potato salad, sausages or confectionery are among the dishes to be included in the menu of your beer garden.
Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
