If you follow us closely you will have discovered in one of our ERASE, the Queen’s favorite cocktail… Now, what is the recipe behind this cocktail?

Dubonnet & Gin

One Part gin (Gordon’s as he has a Royal Order*)

Two parts of Dubonnet, fortified wine

Lemon slice

Three ice cubes

Type of glass

Tumbler, or also a glass of wine

Add three ice cubes to the glass. Add one part gin and two parts Dubonnet. Finally, add a slice of lemon. Stir and enjoy as an aperitif before dinner.

*What is a Royal Order?

The foods preferred by royalty are “awarded” with the Royal Order. It is an honor awarded to the foods or beverages that the royal family enjoys most. For example, Geneva Gordon’s is one of them. This has been the case since 1925, when King George V attributed it to the alcohol company.
