A French whisky aged in armagnac barrels

La Maison Goudoulin, specialized in producing armagnac, creates its first whisky aged in armagnac barrels.

Producers have just released their first single malt whisky aged for three years in oak barrels. The pedunculated barrels previously contained vintage and award-winning “bas-armagnacs” armagnac.

The spirits of the Goudoulin house have acquired a reputation thanks to the work of the master winemaker Aurélien, who contributes to Veuve Goudoulin. His expertise has earned the house numerous awards in recent years.

Thanks to its ageing in armagnac barrels, Goudoulin whisky has a unique flavour. A final aromatic palette defined by contact with this type of wood.
