La Distillerie de Paris premieres a single malt whisky
The only distillery in the French capital after creating gin, vodka, rum and liqueurs, introduces a single malt whisky. Follow the news in Spirits Hunters.
The Distillerie de Paris, based in the tenth district of Paris, has just released a single malt whisky. A whisky that highlights the particularities of its production, rather than its origin.
Single Malt whisky has an alcoholic volume of 43% and comes in a 50 cl bottle. It has original notes of cereal must, blond tobacco, smoke, peat and citrus. It is produced from five different malts: blonde, smoked, peat, white and toasted. Its ageing process in different barrels gives it a texture with relief.
Besides, it is the first whisky from the distillery run by Nicolas Julhès, where he exploits the only still in Paris. A craftsman and creator of tastes, Julhès masters the expertise and techniques of distillation.
This single malt blended whisky is available in a limited edition and can be obtained through the Maison du Whisky.
