Stranger Things inspired pop-up themed bar opens in England
As the trailer for Stranger Things 4 is released, we announce the news of the pop-up bar inspired by the series. Read all about it here.
Now you can get into the UpsideDown! That’s what many will say, since the themed bar is called The UpsideDown, better known as the underworld of the series and set in the 1980s. The UpsideDown is a pop-up bar, that is, itinerant and ephemeral, for a limited time and in taking place in different cities. But there is still no information about the cocktails or drinks that we will be able to taste at the bar.
Visitors can enjoy watching films from the 1980s or playing arcade games. And all this to the sound of 80’s music played by a DJ. There will also be related games and puzzles to solve.
The bar is decorated to resemble the settings of Stranger Things as much as possible. You can find a piece like Will’s living room with the alphabet in light bulbs. Or references like “Barb Deserved Better” in a fogged-up window.
To enjoy the experience, you’ll have to head to England. The Upside Down takes place in several cities around the country: London, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool. Although it is an event reserved for adults, families and children will be able to attend but separate events.
The pop-up bar will open between August and October, and tickets and are on sale. Prices vary between 15 and 20 pounds depending on the date and time.
Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
