Japanese Seduction cocktail, for Whisky Lovers

If you’re a whisky lover looking for chic and easy recipes, we once again recommend the ingenious recipes of Laurence Marot and Régis Célabe, this time from the book Les cocktails à base de whisky. (Tana éditions).

Laurence Marot is a journalist turned into a gastronomy journalist, who eventually specialized in the world of cocktails and liquors. Régis Célabe studied in hotels and has worked as a bartender for prestigious teams such as Relais & Château Toasts. Today he mixes at the Secret 8 of Buddha Bar in Paris.

The recipe presented on this occasion is based on Japanese whisky, which is why it has been named Japanese Seduction.

A subtle creation where the delicate character of violet meets the softness of cassis and the finesse of Japanese whisky.

For the preparation of this cocktail you will need:



5 cl of Japanese whisky

2 cl of cassis cream

1 cl of violet liqueur

2 dash of Peychaud’s bitters


Add the ingredients in a shaker. Add the ice to the glass and stir for a few seconds. Pour the liquid into a cocktail glass. Decorate with edible violet flower.
