Alexandr Nikitchenko is a bartender from Pavlodar city in Kazakhstan. Besides being one of the finalists of the Best Confinement Tuto, he won twice during the confinement bartender contest for his cocktail tutorials.

SPIRITS HUNTERS: 1. Where are you originally from?
Alexandr Nikitchenko: I am from the city of Pavlodar, Kazakhstan! Our city is very small, about 350 thousand people. Therefore, the bar sphere is far from ideal.
2 – How long have you been a bartender?
I have been working at the bar for about 5 years.
3 – What brought you to the world of bartending / what inspired you to become a bartender? And what have you discovered about yourself being a bartender?
I started as many as a waiter, then became friends with a bartender and gradually began to replace him when he needed a day off. And I realized that I was created for this business. He inspired me, and was my teacher @_1osoznanno1_ for which I bowed deeply.
5 – How is the situation in your city/country regarding Covid?
In the current situation with COVID-19 in our country, everything is not very good, we came out on top in the incidence rate in the world. In this regard, we have tightened quarantine.
6 – What inspired you to make the video you’ve sent us for the Confinement Bartender Contest?
Answering a question of inspiration, I will not lie. It was a prize, the biggest prize in my competitive bartender career. And with the financial part, everything is bad 🙁
7 – Is your bar open today?
It is unrealistic to find work, since there are a lot of personnel, and there is a lot of competition, and all the guys value their places.
