This is our favorite of the week! Vodka Moutard is the first sustainable 100% Vodka made in Champagne, France.

Vodka Moutard is distilled from Marc de Raisin Chardonnay and Pinot Noir (Marc Champenois) after four distillations, resulting in an ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin (96%vol).

After pressing the grapes in the family vineyard of the Moutard Family located on the Côte des Bars, the aignes (Champagne grapes) are stored, from which a natural fermentation takes place until mid-October to then start the distillation of the Marc Champenois.

Alexandre Moutard, head of the Champagne vodka cellars for Moutard, explained in our article Interview: Discovery of Vodka Moutard, the first 100% sustainable Vodka Champenoise the creation process for their Vodka Moutard.

I proceed to a third distillation, a distillate. Then a fourth distillation in a column that we acquired 1 year ago to obtain an Ethyl Alcohol of Agricultural Origin of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes.
