alvados 15 ans d'âge Château du Breuil

For the festive season, Château du Breuil unveils a new packaging for its “15-year-old” Calvados.

For your festivities, nothing is more comforting than a tasting with the scents of Normandy and woody and toasted notes. Château du Breuil 15-year-old Pays d’Auge Calvados is a blend that leaves a subtle apple taste in the mouth, gradually giving way to the refined combinations of the tannins of an old Calvados. A well-melted alcohol with a powerful aroma, rich and voluptuous at the same time.

It is the leading product in the range and represents what an old Calvados of great quality can be: a perfect harmony between apple and wood, with multiple underlying aromas.

ABOUT CHÂTEAU DU BREUIL DISTILLERY

Proud of its orchards of 22,000 apple trees on 42 hectares, the Château du Breuil distillery is located in the heart of the Pays d’Auge, a region renowned for the excellence of its cider apples. This Calvados, of Appellation Pays d’Auge Contrôlée, is the result of the natural fermentation of the apple juice, the double distillation of the cider of which only the heart of the second distillation is kept. Château du Breuil pays particular attention to the choice of cask, as its nature, size and age play a considerable role in the quality of the ageing process. The finesse and bouquet of the Calvados depends on the subtle osmosis between the wood and the alcohol.
