Hendrick's Gin Orbium quinine and blue lotus

A new Hendrick’s gin came to conquer us, based on quinine and blue lotus. Orbium: a creation without a doubt by Lesley Gracie.

We recently brought you one of the passionate and beautiful story about cocktail and bar idea imagined by Master Distiller Lesley Gracie. Her latest invention is Orbium gin, a mixture of quinine, wormwood and blue lotus, bringing all of Lesley Gracie’s botanical knowledge and experience.

And this is how Lesley manages to break stereotypes and break the mold, standing out of the “lot” of gin that recent years have seen created. Unimaginable flavors took shape last year mostly. Hendrick’s by adding these three ingredients achieves a subtle and balanced combination thanks to the blue lotus. It is incredible to note that before mixing it in any cocktail, Orbium contains the quinine found in the tonic, as in gin and tonic, and the wormwood found in vermouth, as in Martini. So you will undoubtedly be able to taste it in these cocktails.

We start the year off on the right foot, and if you’re lucky you can get a bottle of Orbium, not only in bars, but also for YOUR personal bar. A bottle that should not be missing as it is a special edition in limited release.

Nose: quinine evident instantly. Clean, fruity and floral.

Palate: green flowers, woody bitterness, mint and pepper, lemon, cucumber, juniper and rose petals.

Finish: bitter but pleasant.

Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
