To help during the coronavirus situation the brewer is creating hand sanitizer. As we know, this product is indispensable to keep our hands disinfected, as the coronavirus is spread by contact and expulsion.

Last Saturday, Anheuser-Busch announced that it would provide support during this crisis by creating the gel. “We have a great history of support for our community and employees, this time will be no different“. Declared AB on its social network Twitter.

With the baseline “It’s all in our hands to make a difference“, AB expresses their support and highlights the importance of the hand sanitizer. “We are using our supply and logistics network to begin production and distribution of hand sanitizer bottles to meet the growing need in the United States“.

The company also said they are working with the Red Cross to determine where the gel is “needed most”. In addition, they said they are creating gel and beer at the same time during the national crisis.

After a rapid shortage of the hand sanitizer, several alcohol producers in the United States took responsibility. Some small distilleries in New York are also creating their gel, such as Ginsmiths. The latter has shipped small bottles of gel along with orders for their gin via their website. In addition, according to Eater New York, they sent orders to hospitals for 2500 gallons and 1700 gallons of hand sanitizer.

Other companies include New York Distilling Company and St. Agrestis Spirits.
