French Prime Minister Jean Castex announced that bars and restaurants could open in mid-February.

The covid-19 does not stop hitting the restaurant sector. In France, a reopening was planned for January 20. But it has been rescheduled without certainty due to the Covid-19 outbreak. In the meantime, there are fears of a possible total reconfiguration, which would be a “real tragedy for the French economy,” according to Stéphane Manigold, co-founder and spokesman for the Restons Ouverts collective.
