This new beer is however awaiting approval from the Mexican government to be marketed. On the other hand, this range is part of the beer brand “El Chapo 701”, from El Chapo’s daughter, Alejandrina Guzmán Salazar. In addition, the company already has a clothing line. “701”, refers to El Chapo’s position on the Forbes 2009 list of richest people.
The beer bottles of this new lager range come in a 12oz presentation at a price of 70.10 pesos, about $3.75 in the United States. The first release of the beer took place at a professional salon in Guadalajara last week. According to USA Today.
