The first bar in Beijing’s Gin opens its doors next July 21, especially in the Sanlitun district. The bar is designed by Pickering’s award-winning, wonderfully blended Scottish gin and is handcrafted at Summerhall Distillery.

Pickering’s Gin and Seafood Bar will also offer British seafood dishes to enjoy with a glass of the brand’s gin of course. With the opening of the gin bar, Pickering’s is implementing an expansion strategy for the brand’s market in Asia.

Gin is booming and overall UK gin sales have increased by 20% in just 12 months. Scottish Field, co-founder and export manager Marcus Pickering, sees the bar as a springboard for Gin Pickering’s and Scottish products to establish themselves in China.
