If you’re thinking of going on the adventure of whisky rarities in this world, here’s a list of five of the most difficult to find and good whiskies to invest in.
In a Forbes article, journalist Karla Alindahao shares a selection of 20 whisky rarities that fit perfectly for an investment. No doubt about it. In fact, investing in bottled whisky is one of the investment trends. Especially old Scottish bottles and today and accentuating over time, bottles of Japanese whisky since they entered a cycle of scarcity.

Lagavulin 1991 20th Anniversary 25 Year Old Single Cask
Only 522 bottles of this edition sell for charitable purposes to different Islay associations. According to Nate, it is a secure business.
Glendronach 1968 ANA (All Nippon Airways)
In just two years this bottle has increased in value by approximately 200%. It went from an $80 bottle to a current value of $3,100.
Yamazaki 10 Year Old
One of the first Japanese malts to reach the market with presence. Since then, a 12-year-old malt replaced it. To this day, it remains one of the most balanced Japanese whiskies ever created.
Suntory The Peninsula Hotel 2014
This whisky is apparently a mixture of The Yamazaki, The Hakushu and The Chita. If you can get this whisky dedicated to the Peninsula Hotel in Tokyo, make sure you its boxed and decorated with its ribbon. Possibility of finding it in the recommended range of 2000 $.
Glenlivet Cellar Collection
It’s a collection of five different whiskeys. Vintages of the years 1959, 1964, 1964 second edition, 1967, 1969, 1972, 1973, 1980 and 1983, and the 30 year old American Oak Finish. All cask strength.
