Some of you may have noticed, Jay-Z and Beyonce brought their own bottle of champagne to the Golden Globes ceremony. Business strategy? We talk about it in our article.

How do you sell your brand of champagne? When you have 18 million people watching you on TV, it seems like an excellent opportunity. Musical couple Jay-Z and Beyonce brought their own bottle of champagne to the table. Armand de Brignac, or known as Ace of Spades, belongs to a Jay-Z partnership.

During the ceremony, bottles of Moët & Chandon were served at the tables for the participants of the awards. However, a Jay-Z and a somewhat entrepreneurial Beyonce decided to take their own brand. “They arrived an hour later, and their bodyguard brought them their own champagne.”

The champagne glasses on the tables next to Jay-Z and Beyonce then began to fill with Armand de Brignac. Next to them were actresses Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. Apparently, they were short on “water” at their table, and what better opportunity for Jay-Z and Beyonce to give them some of their champagne?

Pictures of the couple with their bottle of champagne and other artists enjoying the French nectar created by the rapper were posted on social networks.

And to further develop this story, Reese Witherspoon later posted via an Instagram story a video of her with an Armand de Brignac’s bottle. Witherspoon said that Jay-Z and Beyonce sent him a case of champagne they had shared at the Golden Globes, with a note that said “more water“.

Armand de Brignac

Recognizable by his “golden” bottles, Armand de Brignac reflects the “bling-bling” lifestyle of Jay-Z. Refined, imposing, but full of history. A detail that did not escape the attention of the rapper, who admits that he especially likes champagnes that carry a family heritage in them.

The house is run by the Cattier family, a lineage in the world of winemaking since 1763. Today, Jean-Jacques (12th generation) and his son (13th generation), Alexandre, have taken over the torch. The company only produces 60,000 bottles per year and employs only 18 people. Each bottle is unique: it is handmade because it must be “in the image of the consumer”. To underline its uniqueness, Armand de Brignac produces mainly magnums.

Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
