The famous whisky brand Johnnie Walker is releasing a 28-year-aged blend for its John Walker & Sons Private collection.
This limited edition, called Midnight Blend, is a mix of whiskies which have been aged for at least 28 years. The blend includes toffee, caramel and butterscotch flavors, as well as a touch of spice and some fruitiness.
Only 3,888 bottles of this unique blend will be available on the market, at a retail price of $750 per bottle.
Johnnie Walker’s 28 Year Old Midnight Blend completes a collection launched in 2014, gathering limited releases of very valuable whiskies from the Johnnie Walker reserve.
According to Johnnie Walker Master Blender, Jim Beveridge, whiskies aged for 28 years are rare and very special. That’s why the Midnight Blend belongs to their luxurious private collection.
