After already four years of existence, the Indian franchise called Agent Jack’s Bar recently opened a new spot in Chennai, India. The vast interior of the pub underwent renovations with pictures of supervillains such as Harley Quinn and the Joker. Indeed, elements that create a unique atmosphere.
However, what is more surprising is the live screen streaming messages of customers interacting with Agent Jack, the virtual bartender, who seems to enjoy teasing clients with messages such as “Lemme give you a High-five. In your face, with a chair. Just kiddin…”.
Apparently, you can be placed in one of five categories: Trainee, Rookie, Field Agent, Special Agent or Chief, depending on how often you visit. The concept is simple: the more often you visit the pub and the more you order, the more likely you are to receive good deals.
It is very easy to use; all you have to do is log into the app and bid on alcoholic beverages with Agent Jack.
In this one-of-a-kind place, you can enjoy your cocktails along with some spicy traditional Indian dishes, such as a Peri Peri Paneer Tikka or a Paneer Porichathu. A must try place if you happen to visit the area of Chennai! But what we really need to ask ourselves is, are we ready to interact with robots rather than humans?
