Pernod Ricard’s new world headquarters was named “Best Interior Architecture Project of the Year”.

The Island, located in Paris’ 8th arrondissement, has just won the award for best development project of the year. Pernod Ricard won this award in the “medium corporate building” category. This award is one of the most sought-after in the profession. Pernod Ricard won it as part of the 15th edition of the “Best of the Year Awards”. The awards are organised by the international reference magazine Interior Design.

This year the 2020 awards ceremony was conducted in digital format by Cindy Allen. During the ceremony Allen, editor-in-chief, referred to Paul Ricard and told the story of the name The Island.

Pernod Ricard competed against two other internationally renowned finalists. Rockefeller Group’s headquarters in New York and EY Wavespace, the Group’s innovation center in Antwerp.

It should be noted that The Island had already been named best office project at the MIPIM Awards 2020 in September.
