The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards are the most prestigious awards for interior design in the hotel and catering industry. Each year they recognize excellence in bar and restaurant design. This year the twelfth edition was held and received nominations from over 100 countries worldwide. The awards aim to recognize talent expressed in any space “From boats to airports, museums to hamburger joints, from revered Michelin-starred establishments to the fleeting dynamism of pop-ups”.
Winners of the 2020 edition
Best Restaurant Design: Garden Hotpot (Chengdu, China) designed by MUDA-Architects. An extraordinary outdoor restaurant located in a eucalyptus forest and bordered by a lotus pond.
Best Bar Design: INNS Bar (Chengdu, China) designed by Wooton Designers. This bar, mainly dedicated to whisky, offers an intimate space where you can taste, savor and learn.
