On October18, 2018, the glassworker Saverglass, specialist in high-end glass bottles, inaugurated in Acatlán de Juárez, Mexico, the opening of its fifth industrial site, the first on the American continent. With this site, the group can increase to five the number of its establishments: three in France, one in the United Arab Emirates and one in Mexico.
Are currently available on this site a single oven of 85,000 tons (although one can expect according to the large area the construction of a second) and a decor plant. The site has at the moment an annual production capacity of 120 million bottles and intend, thanks to its integrated plant, to offersilk-screen printing, lacquering and hot stamping services. The satinizing is being scheduled for next year.
The new Mexican plant will enable the group to meet the growing demand for premiumization in the marketswhich it targets: tequila and mezcal in Mexico, fine wines and spirits in the United States and rums in the Caribbean zone. And the factory’s proximity to these markets is in his favour.
