To support the launch of Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla gin, the artist Joe Jonas and the number one British drinks group Diageo join forces to create a digital series.

After Nick Jonas creator of Villa One tequila with John Varvatos, Jonas Brother Joe Jonas ventures into the world of spirits as part of the advertising campaigns of Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla gin.

Diageo has put together a series called Today’s Forecast: Sunshine in a Glass, to celebrate the launch of this orange-flavored variant of the gin.

Jonas stars in the series as a meteorologist who gives the weather report for “Tanqueray Sevilla Orange”. An opportunity for the brand to highlight how this gin marries well with the approaching summer days.

With this gin and its campaign, Tanqueray is looking for consumers to take advantage of casual outdoor occasions such as picnics, garden parties and pool parties.

Jonas said of the new collaboration, “It’s an incredible opportunity to work with an iconic gin brand like Tanqueray to create a unique and vibrant content series like ‘Today’s Forecast: Sunshine in a Glass’ and help launch Tanqueray Seville Orange across the country.

To me, enjoying a Tanqueray Sevilla Orange cocktail is truly like sunshine in a glass, and I’m excited to show the world how they can do just that on their own and with their friends this summer.” More content will be released throughout the summer featuring Joe Jonas.

The gin brand describes Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla as “a unique distilled gin made with Sevilla orange essences and other fine botanicals. Inspired by Charles Tanqueray’s original recipes and the ripening oranges growing on the trees in sun-drenched SEVILLE, the result is a perfect balance of the uniquely bittersweet taste of Seville oranges balanced with the complexity of Tanqueray London Dry Gin. Best served with Premium tonic and a squeeze wedge of orange.”

Tasting Notes

Tanqueray Sevilla Orange is a gin that contains 41.3% alcohol by volume and to taste it is recommended to be served with soda water and an orange wedge. But it will also adapt to various cocktails proposed by the brand. You can find it from $23.99 for a 750 ml bottle.

Nose: A pleasant orange marmalade aroma followed immediately by some tangerine notes. Underlying notes of juniper berries and coriander.

Palate: Sweet orange bitterness in the center of the palate, with a vegetal underpinning to the spicy and intense note of a very ripe orange. The gin character reveals itself on the roundness of the palate and continues on the length.

Finish: A very present Tanqueray structure combined with a fresh orange note.
