Founded in 1838, the Dartigalongue House is celebrating its 180th anniversary this year. On this memorable occasion, the company is keen to mark the occasion with the release of an exceptional batch named Louis-Philippe. To obtain this product, five vintages were assembled. These are those of 1979, 1983, 1986, 1992, and 1994 respectively corresponding to flavours of rancio, spices, candied fruits, vanilla and flowers. This vintage will be available from November and will be produced in limited number. The house Dartigalongue also wants to take advantage of this event to be better known to consumers.

In this perspective, it intends to expand its target by integrating an audience interested in rum and whiskey. Benoît Hillion, who has been in charge of the company since 2010, aims to promote Armagnac even more. A well-defined strategy would raise the sales ceiling for the product, which is currently set at 3 million bottles per year. He also recognizes that they would need a classic cocktail in order to make the spirit more valuable.
