There's a new sake made in France, and it's the first

Wakaze is a sake from Fresnes, from the Île-de-France region. First of its kind, will hit the market shelves in the month of November.

Although Wakaze is made in France, the sake’s production follows traditional methods. But also, the process includes aging in wine barrels. These sakes are flavored with spices, citruses and herbs.

The company started ind 2016 by Takuma Inagawa. The young entrepreneur opened the French site with the objective to make discover sake to a new range of customers, more specifically, Parisians.

A range of three different types of sake is available: Pure Whale, Botanical Dog and Dragon Barrel.
