When we think of coffee cocktails the first thing that comes to mind is a classic Irish Coffee or an Espresso Martini, right? Basically we think of mixing vodka or whisky with coffee. Well, to the surprise of many there is a variety of cocktails with coffee.

Also, from taking care of the preamble to the preparation of the cocktail. That is to say, to prepare a good coffee intentionally made for the cocktail instead of using an old coffee from the morning.

 

Here we show you five recipes for coffee cocktails, among which you will find the classic Irish Coffee and the Espresso Martini.

 

Irish Coffee

Ingredients

60 ml of Irish whiskey

150 ml of coffee

2 teaspoons of sugar

Heavy cream

Type of glass: cup

Preparation

Heat your cup first. Add the whisky, coffee and sugar to the cup. Stir until it is even. Finally, add a good layer of thick, slightly whipped cream, let it float and do not mix it with the coffee.

 

Espresso Martini

Ingredients

60 mo of vodka

30 ml of coffee liqueur

30 ml of fresh espresso coffee

Type of glass: martini glass

Garnish (optional): coffee beans

Preparation

Shake the ingredients with ice in a shaker. Strain everything into the previously chilled martini glass. Decorate with coffee beans on the surface.

Mudslide

Ingredients

30 ml of coffee liqueur

30 ml of vodka

45 ml of Irish cream liqueur

Ice

Type of glass: rocks

Preparation

Add coffee liqueur, vodka, Irish cream liqueur and ice in a shaker. Shake for about 10 seconds. Add three ice cubes to your glass and filter the contents of the shaker into it.

 

White Russian

Ingredients

45 ml of vodka

22.5 ml of coffee liqueur

22.5 ml of heavy cream

Ice

Type of glass: rocks

Preparation

Add vodka and Kahlúa to the glass with ice. Add the thick cream on the surface, mix with a bar spoon. You can also shake the ingredients with broken ice in a shaker and strain it into a cold Old Fashioned glass.

Black Russian

Ingredients

60 ml of vodka

30 ml of coffee liqueur

Type of glass: Old Fashioned

Preparation

Stir the ingredients with ice in a mixing glass. Strain into an Old Fashioned glass over fresh ice cubes.

 

Bonus: Low calorie Mudslide

Ingredients

30 ml of coffee liqueur

30 ml of low-calorie vodka

45 ml of Irish cream liqueur

Ice

Type of glass

Fizz

Garnish -optional

You can add fine pieces of grated chocolate

Preparation

Combine the three main ingredients in a shaker with ice to serve cold. Shake well until the liquors are well mixed and you get a cold enough drink. Strain the ingredients over ice into a previously cooled fizz glass.
