Glenfiddich: an important pioneer in the whisky industry

The Speyside distillery has been a major pioneer in the whisky industry and helped create the Single Malt Scotch Whisky category as we know it today.

This expertise is reflected in its status as the world’s most award-winning Single Malt Scotch brand, as well as one of the most sought-after and collectable whiskies on the secondary market.

In addition to these extremely old and rare expressions that appear so infrequently at auctions, the exclusive sale will offer whisky lovers the chance to explore the distillery’s newest bottlings that exemplify Glenfiddich’s progressive approach to whisky making.

Joe Wilson, head of content at the Whisky Auctioneer, commented, “Many of these bottles have a story to tell and together they provide a fascinating insight into the distillery’s pioneering journey.
