A perfect rum to drink neat. First notes: roasted coffee, butterscotch, vanilla and dark chocolate. Then, fresh citrus and apricot hints refresh the palate, and are joined by green herbal notes, nutmeg and ginger. Long finish with flavors of caramel, pipe tobacco, cedar and toasted nuts.

 

Diplomático – Venezuela

Bold, dark, fruity and full-bodied. Notes of sweetened honey and butterscotch are accentuated along with notes of sage and thyme, and a hint of citrus fruit peel. Both sweet and spicy spices provide a warmth that does not burn, but rather creates a pleasant tingle. Perfect for drinking neat.
