The Motel is the new space for mixologist Hannah Van Ongevalle. Originally from The Pharmacy bar, 31-year-old Ongevalle opens her establishment.
This new place is the place where Hannah will currently be exploiting her creativity. After two years of renovations, The Motel will serve as a consulting place for the mixologist. With a luxurious bar and a professional kitchen, Ongevalle organizes cocktail workshops here. There will also be culinary round tables with renowned chefs.
The name of the place, The Motel, Ongevalle explains to Elle.be that he chose a name that made an analogy to The Pharmacy and was sticky. Literally, a motel is a hotel with a parking lot across the street. So is the establishment. In addition, her eccentric colors and clear, California-like atmosphere also pushed her to decide this name.
