Play with the fresh, tangy flavors in this cocktail of basil-infused vodka and grapefruit juice. It’s our cocktail of the week with a twist!

The sours. These delicious frothy cocktails. We revisit the Vodka Sour Vanilla by replacing the vanilla vodka by a vodka infused with basil and by replacing the lemon juice by grapefruit juice. Be sure to shake the shaker well to obtain a nice foam.

 

For 2 glasses

Ingredients

Ice cubes

4 scoops of basil-infused vodka

1 scoop of sugar syrup

2 egg whites (or aquafaba)

3 scoops of grapefruit juice

10 drops of Angostura bitter

Type of glass: Martini (cooled)

Preparation: Put 8 to 10 ice cubes in a shaker. Add vodka, sugar syrup, egg whites (or aquafaba) and grapefruit juice. Knock until condensation forms on the outside of the shaker.

 

Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
