3 Japanese gin liqueurs signed by Kokoro Gin

The brand has just launched a range of three premium gin liqueurs with Japanese flavours :

Kokoro Blueberry and Lemongrass – a major innovation in Japan since blueberries were first grown in the 1950s in this country. These blueberries are sweet, and people travel especially to the region to pick them.
Kokoro Yuzu and Ginger – Yuzu is a Japanese citrus fruit that tastes like a mixture of lime and grapefruit, sweet and sour.
Kokoro Cherry Blossom – Sakura in Japanese, the cherry blossom aroma is unique, with a particularly floral flavour and a hint of sweet cherry.

James Nicol, the founder, said: “We are delighted to add these exciting Japanese liqueurs to the Kokoro family. Over the past two years, we have developed the range using authentic and natural Japanese ingredients. We are proud that our family business continues to support forest conservation in Japan, where the sansho berries grow and are at the heart of our gin. We will donate 10% of the sale of each bottle of Kokoro gin and Kokoro liqueurs to help preserve this forest.

The design of the three bottles is sublime, with its transparent, purple, yellow and pink glass. In addition, they have three different motifs using Japanese images, together forming a triptych of Mount Bandai in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. The illustrations were painted by Koshu, the master calligrapher, who also painted the Kokoro Hirigana logo on the front of the bottle.

These gin liqueurs will be available this month for wholesalers and for trade on the market.
