Innovation is at the heart of this Drappier champagne, the first carbon-free champagne.

The Drappier Champagne House launched the “zero carbon” initiative ten years ago, and this 2019 the Revue des vins de France rewarded Drappier with the award Prix de l’Innovation. Every year, the Revue du vin de France rewards personalities who have left their mark on the world of wine and spirits.

The Zéro Carbone project, launched by Michel Drappier, fully offsets his company’s CO2 emissions. This makes champagne the first zero carbon, and Ecoact certified, by the way, since 2018, during the summer when they harvested the crop that would earn them this award for their responsible attitude. Among the factors that helped drastically reduce CO2 emissions are lighter bottles and solar energy.

Proud is not the word. I am happy with the work that has been done.” Michel Drappier. And there you have it, ways to contribute to the environment by implementing innovative, biological, ecological, reasonable projects. Congratulations Drappier!
