london cocktail week

The event is still on for October and will have a new focus with the support of 29 brands. Read more here.

The London Cocktail Week will be held for one month and will be supported by Brown-Forman, Diageo, Edrington-Beam Suntory, Moët Hennessy and 0 other 26 brands. The brands joined forces with festival co-owners Hannah Sharman-Cox and Siobhan Payne. Also, with Rajbir and Sukhinder Singh from The Whisky Exchange. This way they will be able to secure the festival.

And to support London’s hospitality sector, hard hit by covid-19, the festival will adapt its format. For example, the Cocktail Village will not be held. But the effort will be refocused on directing revenues to partner venues.

Also, “New Commitments” to help increase customer confidence, support responsible operators and boost supply chains through £6 cocktail tours, on-site brand activation and a new home element are plans in the works.

As for covid-19, London Cocktail Week published a statement on its website.

The safety of our guests is absolutely paramount to us, and we are taking very seriously our commitment to work with responsible operators who are adhering to all the safety precautions laid out by the government.

The pandemic has greatly affected the global hospitality scene, and on top of making sure that we’re operating in a safe manner – we’re also very committed to using the festival to help our bar partners get back on their feet after a very difficult year.
