The John Barleycorn Awards awarded Spirits Hunters with the Double Gold Award, earning top marks from all the judges in the 2020 John Barleycorn Awards Marketing + Design Competition. Our work during the pandemic has been recognized for organizing the CONFINEMENT BARTENDER CONTEST.
During the lockdown, Spirits Hunters organised a worldwide video tutorial bartender competition which led to reward 59 bartenders from all over the world and to give €15 000 to the bartender community. Based on its success, we received many letters from bartenders saying how much they appreciated receiving tips during this complicated year.
Finally, a special thank you to CASTARÈDE ARMAGNAC, GRAND MARNIER and 1716 BITTERS for their support, and hoping that more brands will help us in the future to support bartenders.

The John Barleycorn Society recognizes that great taste is only the beginning of building a successful spirit brand. It is worth mentioning that half of all Spring Taste entry fees were donated to the United States Bartenders’ Guild COVID-19 Relief Fund.
