Up one place this year, this classic was made popular in The Savoy Cocktail Book. It consists of gin, lemon juice, sugar and champagne.
28. Old Square
Down 11 places since last year, this New Orleans favourite was created in 1938 by Walter Bergeron, head bartender of the Carousel Bar. It uses whisky, cognac, sweet vermouth, Benedictine, bitter Peychaud and bitter Angostura.
27. Aviation
This classic is made with gin, maraschino liqueur, violet cream and lemon juice.
26. Piña Colada
La Piña Colada will never go out of style ! It is prepared with rum, coconut cream or coconut milk and pineapple juice, served mixed with ice and topped with a pineapple quarter and/or maraschino cherry. Some bartenders now add champagne, the great class.
