The event called Room & Spirits will take place in the city of Montpellier on April 10 and 11 at the Belaroïa hotel and will respect hygienic standards.
With covid-19 we have seen how events and conferences on beverages and spirits have had to be cancelled. The Room & Spirits proposes a new formula for the execution of events.
This spirits lounge will take place on April 10 and 11 in the rooms of the Golden Tulip hotel in Montpellier.
“Room & Spirits will be the first of five weekends we are organizing in several cities to resume contact between consumers and brands,” said Geoffrey Garcia, the organizer.
More than 80 references of spirits such as gin, whiskey, rum and other high-end spirits will set up their booth in a room. Visitors will move from room to room during a pre-booked two-hour schedule. A way to keep their distance during this tour that will allow them to discover more than 80 references.
“In each room, the public will be able to immerse themselves in the universe of a range of spirits and have a privileged exchange with the brand ambassador or the distiller.”
Only four visitors can participate per room and must wear a mask. In addition, hand sanitizer will be available to the public.
Face-to-face or videoconference
The organizers offer exhibitors three possibilities.
- Animate the stand in person.
- Intervention of one or more people by videoconference via the screens in the room.
- 100% digital option: the professional presents his products and comments on the tasting remotely.
Each room will allow each brand to be discovered individually. “In each room, the public will be immersed in the universe of a brand.”
A new way of doing events that is part of Geoffrey Garcia’s various proposals. During the first confinement, he imagined master classes on Facebook, and in November, a professional online salon.
This salon concept in hotel rooms is scheduled to take place in Marseille, Lyon, Nantes and Bordeaux between June and November.
