The World’s 50 Best organizes an unusual and global auction to recover the bar industry affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Let’s be supportive! The 50 Best auction called “Bid for Recovery” is now active online and offers lots donated by bartenders and operators of recent World’s 50 Best Bars lists, and by 50 Best partner brands.
The funds raised will provide direct and tangible financial relief for bars around the world affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The auction is a key element of the fundraising for the 50 Best Recovery Program.
The unusual auction offers from three nights of bar hopping with the famous Dante bar-restaurant (the best of the year 2019), to an exclusive cocktail experience with Ryan Chetiyawardana (Dandelyan / Lyaness).
In addition to experiences such as those mentioned above, lots of bottles are auctioned. For example, the private selection Michter’s 10 Year Bourbon. Also, a weekend at the Cannes Festival red carpet with Rémy Martin or a night at the Four Seasons Seoul Hotel and a shift at the Charles H bar in South Korea. In addition, rare spirits, cocktail and cooking courses, regional wine tours, and other luxurious stay experiences around the world.
