Grant’s Triple Wood proposes to pair whisky with the typical Mexican food of Puebla.

If you’re looking for how to pair whisky with food, we recommend through Grant’s some chiles en nogada. But you need to know that chiles en nogada are enjoyed only in season. Generally, the months of August and September are suitable for tasting. Chiles en nogada are accompanied by poblano peppers, panochera apples, peaches, walnuts, milk pears and pomegranates.

If you do not make them at home, we recommend five restsaurants in Puebla where you can taste chiles paired with whisky. Some of the restaurants celebrate the Festival of Chile in Nogada as La Textilería.
