The Villa One Tequila Gardens chain will open its first San Diego location backed by Villa One, Nick Jonas’ tequila.
Villa One Tequila Gardens will open a series of night spots for dining, cocktails and a good time starting with San Diego and will be followed by cities such as Miami, Las Vegas, New York, Los Angeles and Dallas.
Nick Jonas’ tequila, Villa One Tequila founded together with designer John Varvatos, was made in collaboration with master distiller Arturo Fuentes (El Padrino del Tequila) of Mexico’s “Fábrica de Tequilas Finos,” known for the high quality products who has more than three decades of distilling experience.
The extensive cocktail list at Villa One Tequila Gardens will, of course, feature Villa One tequila, and will offer table preparations of Cadillac and Old Fashioned margaritas, as well as Carajillos, after-dinner coffee cocktails, and Cantaritos, citrusy Paloma-like cocktails typically served in a clay mug.
Kings & Queen Cantina founder Jorge Cueva, also known as Mr. Tempo, is behind the menu, which will feature aguachiles, tacos, burritos and enchiladas, plus steaks and sushi rolls made with Mexican ingredients.
