In December and January, the family holding company Orpar acquired shares on the market. We tell you all about this event in our blog post.

The Hériard Dubreuil family acquired, via the Orpar holding company a total of €18.5 million in shares:

– 33,282 Rémy Cointreau shares on December 6, 2018 at 99.38 euros per share
– 11,003 shares on 7 December at 99.66 euros
– 8,813 shares on 10 December at 99.86 euros
– 738 shares on December 20 at 100 euros….

The list is long… In short, a total of 188,500 shares corresponding to an investment of 18.5 million euros.

To date, four members of the Hériard Dubreuil family are on the Board of Directors of the spirits group out of a total of twelve directors: President Marc Hériard Dubreuil, Dominique Hériard Dubreuil, François Hériard Dubreuil and Laure Hériard Dubreuil, in addition to Gisèle Durand representing the Orpar holding. The Board has seven independent directors.

The multiples of profit valuation are high, notes the broker, but the group is a “target”, barriers to entry are very high and the stocks of brandy are recorded at one billion euros in the balance sheet, while they have a market value of more than 5 billion.

The Rémy Cointreau share has declined by 16% over the past year. But the share price has risen by 50% in three years and by 211% in ten years (excluding dividends).

Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
