This Canadian distillery makes a low cal vodka and is gluten-free
For those looking for a low cal vodka -and gluten-free!-, there is now something to satisfy this desire with the Canadian vodka « Vodkalight ». It is produced by the Artist In Residence Canadian distillery (AIR).
The name, in which « light » succeeds « Vodka » reveals the purpose of this vodka. For Pierre Mantha the president of Artist In Residence (Air) it has two essential meanings. He discloses the peculiarity of this vodka by revealing its lower caloric content in a proportion of 25% compared to other spirits of the same range. As for the percentage of alcohol, it is 30% whereas in general it amounts to 40% on the market. On the other hand, Vodkalight is gluten-free, making it a drink suitable for a wide variety of consumers.
Let us call back that the launch was planned previously over September 27th. Vodka will also be marketed with the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ).
