A bar for every state in the United States

If you’re looking for New Year’s resolutions, visiting a bar for every state in the United States seems like a good idea. Thrillist last summer unveiled a list of one bar per U.S. city and state.

Counting each of the states, from Alabama to Wyoming, Thrillist gathered one bar for each small town in the 50 states. The most interesting thing is that when it comes to small cities and some very old ones you will find bars that date back to Prohibition like the Shooting Star Saloon in Huntsville, Utah. The bar has been around since 1879 and claims to be the oldest working bar in the state.

Other more curious bars include La Kiva Bar in Terlingua, Texas. They call it one of the best bars in the country. Don’t be intimidated by its appearance, which although it may look cave-like, you can enjoy an excellent drink and eat meat. The road to get there is long, but it’s worth it.

If you’re looking for good beer, the city of Oberlin in Ohio reserves The Feve for you and not only beer, but also cocktails. At The Feve hamburgers are delicious and they have selected the best Ohio beers for their menu. The Cellar Peanut Pub (Pella, Iowa) is another excellent beer option.

And here you have a mouth opening of the bars in the most remote places of the United States. Don’t hesitate to read The Best Small-Town Bar in Every State by Thrillist for the full list.

Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
