Alexandre Terwagne’s ingredients of the moment

Today we go back to when we interviewed bartender Alexandre Terwagne, when he was still preparing cocktails at the Mezcaleria in Paris. We took the opportunity to discuss the ingredients of the moment at that time.

As the main ingredient, Alexandre of course used mezcal for the preparation of La Mezcalería cocktails. The drink is mainly produced in the state of Oaxaca in Mexico.

Timut Pepper
Produced in Nepal mainly this pepper provides and develops citrus flavors, and more specifically the delicious grapefruit.

The water of life wine, produced mainly in Peru and Chile.

Seasonal fruits
Cherry, mango, strawberry, raspberries, peach, pears. Fruits beautify cocktails and bring a sweet taste, in addition to adding color to the cocktail presentation.
