Cannabis infused beer is coming to Canada
Canada will legalize cannabis-based food products starting next year. On this occasion, an official partnership between Molson Coors Canada and cannabis producer HEXO Corp will result in the production of a cannabis-infused beer through a company called Truss.
The legalization of THC products in Canada has led to a cannabis-infused beverages trend introduced by Corona, which has invested more than €4 billion in Canopy Growth, a company specializing in marijuana.
However, Truss is still in the research stage at the moment, and more details about the development of this drink will be shared in 2019.
The company’s CEO hopes that in the long term, cannabis-infused soft drinks will represent at least 20% of the legal cannabis market.
