The finals of the CONFINEMENT BARTENDER CONTEST starting on June 8th until the 8th of July will reward a 2.000 euros prize.

New bartenders are welcome and must submit by the 8th of July midnight French time on @spiritshunters_mag

Bartenders whom participated in the last six weeks of THE CONFINEMENT BARTENDER CONTEST are automatically in the finals with the videos sent, but they can resubmit news videos.

1. Contest Period

The CONFINEMENT BARTENDER CONTEST FINALS is worldwide and will begin on Monday 8th of June until Wednesday 8th of July and the Grand winner will be announced July 12th.

2. Eligibility

To be eligible an individual must be a bartender of 21+ years old and have an Instagram account.

Contestants can enter the contest if the laws of their country allows so.

Participation in the contest is free and without obligation to purchase.

Bartenders can send as many videos as they wish.

No sponsor will tip a particular bartender. Each tip goes to a common “tip jar” from which Spirits Hunters will award the winning bartender(s).

3. Online diffusion

Every contestant bartender will send one video tutorial of 30 seconds to 1 minutes, preparing a cocktail, via direct message to Spirits Hunters’ Instagram account @spiritshunters_mag. Bartenders should and can also post their video tutorials in their Instagram account and tag @spiritshunters_mag , and use hashtags #confinementbartendercontestfinal,  #bestconfinementuto and #spiritshunters.

The cocktail must be a craft cocktail prepared with the ingredients found at hand.The video needs to show:

  1. Preparation of the cocktail,
  2. Show each ingredient used (without showing the brands of spirits too obviously, you can cover the label with your hand when holding the bottle or turn the bottle when still)

Along with the video, the contestant has to send via message:

  1. The written recipe of the cocktail.
  2. First name, last name, age, country, and bar (current, or previous).

The video should last between 30 seconds and 1 minute.

Spirits Hunters could or may republish on the social networks and website of Spirits Hunters the videos sent on the Spirits Hunters Instagram by the contestants.

 

4. Principles of Content Creation.

Avoid:

– The use of ingredients/tools containing tobacco, any type of drug or ingredient psychotropic in the creation of your digital content.

– If alcohol is present, do not appeal to those under the legal drinking age & do not represent illegal, irresponsible or immoderate consumption.

– No consumers other than bartenders.

– Association in any way with acts of bravado, dangerous or antisocial;

– Any association with sex or sexual achievement.

 

5. Judges

The jury: Spirits Hunters staff and a professional committee, with 11 representatives of bartenders associations of the world:

Contestants will be judged according to the cocktail presentation and the cocktail itself.

After visioning the videos received until the 8th of July, the judges will select the most outstanding video and cocktail to reward a grand winner.

 

6. Prize

The winner of the CONFINEMENT BARTENDER CONTEST finals will be rewarded with a 2.000 euros tip prize.

   6.1     Claiming the prize: The winning contestants will receive their tip prize via their PayPal account or Bank Account in a ten day delay after being notified. Good luck everyone !
