Disneyland’s first official bar will open in summer and autumn
The news comes to fans of Star Wars, the theme for which the bar is created, but also to excite the community of spirit tasters and mixologists.
Oga’s Cantina probably sounds familiar to Star Wars fans. It’s the name of the first bar that will officially sell alcohol at Disneyland this summer and at Walt Disney World in the fall. The bar will be part of the new development area, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which is part of the huge Star Wars village universe under construction.
This is the first time alcoholic beverages will officially be sold inside the park. In fact, it can only be consumed inside the Cantina. Currently it is only possible to drink alcohol at the park entrance and at California Adventure.
But speaking of mixology, amazing images of cocktails courtesy of Disney appear in a Travel and Leisure article, evoking the space, colorful and exotic beverages that Oga’s Cantina will offer. Among the flavors we can taste are an exotic Margarita with black salt rim, or a rum punch with passion fruit Yub Nub. Other innovations in mixology include cocktails such as Bespin Fizz made with dry ice.
There will be exclusive cocktails and only those offered in the bar’s spatial menu can be tasted. However, the bar will also offer unique Galaxy’s Edge beers, such as the IPA Bad Motivator or the White Wampa Ale. Other spirits include themed wines such as the Toniray from planet Alderaan or an Imperial Red cabernet.
Finally, in order to cover the demand of the bar that will surely be at the top because of its incredible theme, Oga’s Cantina will extend its hours of service by opening from the morning to taste non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee and hot chocolate, made as crazy as the drinks, or the famous Blue Milk. Snacks and other meals will be on order to accompany your drinks. “Booking park tickets in 3, 2, 1…”
