France. G.H. Mumm creates a champagne that pops in zero gravity
Ever wondered what it would be like to raise a toast in space?
The Maison G.H. Mumm unveiled their latest innovation on mixology and science indeed, with the Mumm Grand Cordon Stellar Vintage, a champagne that pops and floats in zero gravity.
It is a unique collaboration between Octave de Gaulle – CEO of the space design cutting-edge agency Spade – and Didier Mariotti, Cellar Master at Maison Mumm. This challenge reinvents both champagne and the visions of zero gravity. Not to mention, that the quality of the champagne remains the same meeting the usual expectations of the brand. It is filled in the House’s cellars in Reims.
The design of the bottle is also incredible, composed of special parts to make the champagne pop under zero gravity. Luckily, spacemen and astronauts will have the honour of tasting the ultimate space champagne during their next expedition and taste and toast to this incredible innovation in the world of spirits.
