Nazanin’Naz’ Khanjani, a reality TV character in New Zealand, has published a new alcoholic beverage Ketonic that she believes is perfect for those who don’t want to give up the party and think about keeping their figure. “I always felt guilty for drinking too much, even vodka and sodas with fresh lime,” she said.

It’s a coconut and vodka water-based drink: “It doesn’t give you that bloating feeling – it’s literally detoxification when you drink,” she adds. Ketonic contains 2.5 g of sugar, 3.8 g of carbohydrates, so no fat and no sacrifice on taste. “The best way to describe taste is ‘sexy’; you just want to drink more and more.”

Ketonic is not limited to calories, the brand is also girlpower: “I wanted it to be purely run by women”.

On the bottle, there is a pink flamingo, a symbol for Madame: “He is a spiritual animal for me. It is simply a question of beauty, confidence and strength.”

The official launch of Ketonic will not take place until the end of January, but those who want to try it early can take a few in some Auckland stores before the drink invades the bars.
