Loch Lomond reserve is the best whisky in the world!

Loch Lomond Scotch whisky was recently crowned the best whisky in the world at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

This inexpensive $40 whisky pitted against and beat other whisky brands whose price is up to seven times more expensive than Loch Lomond Reserve Blended. Its unique taste of soft fruit and creamy vanilla earned it a double gold medal in the prestigious competition. They described it as “exceptionally well balanced and with a perfectly smooth finish”.

The Loch Lomond distillery literally swept away during the awards, winning double gold with Loch Lomond Reserve Blended, six silver medals and three gold medals.

In Australia, whisky knows a great success allowing millenials to acquire a whisky of exceptional quality at an affordable price. At the same time, Loch Lomond is likewise appreciated by women who lately are increasingly involved in the world of whisky, leaving behind the idea that this beverage is only intended for men.

Michael Henry, master distiller of Loch Lomond was positively overwhelmed with the result, saying “Our unique distilling style and the broad range of aged whiskies we have put aside in barrels over past decades gives us the ability to create top quality whiskies like Loch Lomond Reserve, and it is great this has been recognised by such a prestigious judging panel.
