25. Amaretto Sour
Ten percent of bars rank the Amaretto Sour in their top 10 and 2 bars even declare it as their top one. It is made with amaretto, lemon juice and egg whites, topped with cherries.
24. Pisco sour
This 1920s Peruvian dish, made up of three parts pisco, a sugar syrup, lime juice, egg whites and a dash of Angostura bitters, fell five places this year.
23. Americano
Originally known as Milano-Torino, this Italian cocktail has gained 15 places this year. It consists of Campari, vermouth and sparkling water.
22. Gimlet
Once thrown away by sailors to prevent scurvy, gimlet is now more glamorous and gains eight places this year. It contains gin, lime juice and soda.
21. Mai Tai
Ideal for a beach holiday, this drink includes rum, Curacao liqueur, orgeat syrup and lime juice.
