The Dominican Republic has its best Chivas Masters bartender
As part of the Chivas Masters competition, Pernod Ricard Dominicana executives nominated the best Dominican bartender.
The bartender Lisander Lara Peña from Qero Bar Santo Domingo won the Chivas Masters Dominican Republic 2019. His cocktail based on the Scotch whisky is called Curandero –healer-.
The competition was evaluated by Stefan Marinov, Dashiel Duran and José Luis Montero (Pernod Ricard executives) along with local Chivas ambassador, Ciaran Hayes.
A Cocktail for Victory
Thanks to the cocktail of victory, Curandero, Lisander will travel to the United Kingdom this year in August to participate in the global final of the Chivas Masters.
Second and Third Place Chivas Masters RD
Bartender Ricardo Rodriguez won second place, (Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Hotel in Punta Cana). The third place went to Yandery Crispín from Hotel Circle by Meliá Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
